The Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) allows eligible children aged between 2 and 17 years old to access $1095 worth of dental treatment over a two year calendar period. Eligible children can be treated for a range of services including check-ups, x-rays, cleans, fillings, extractions and root canal treatments.
This scheme has replaced the Teen Dental Scheme from the 1st January 2014.
The CDBS is bulk billed at Dental Aspects. To find out more about the scheme, or to check eligibility, click here.
