Anxious Patients

We strive to make your visit as pleasant and calming as possible. We understand that not everyone enjoys going to the dentist, especially if they have had unpleasant or traumatic experiences in the past.

Your calming and relaxing experience

From the moment you walk into our practice, our team will assist you in anyway possible to make your experience pleasant. Our 2-metre marine fish tank in our waiting area, along with a TV, ensures that you are comfortable and relaxed before even entering the surgery. If you prefer, feel free to grab one of the many magazines or books available to read.

Once inside the surgery, our soft comfortable dental chair and ceiling TV will allow you to feel at home. During your procedure, we regularly give you a break to have a sip of water or rest your jaws, as we understand your mouth does get dry and is not easy keeping it open for long periods of time.

If you have any particular concerns, please mention this to the dentists before treatment.

Local Anaesthesia

Local Anaesthetics are used regularly for dental treatment that may cause you pain. A numbing gel is used before the anaesthetic is given so that you don’t feel any pain at all. Local anaesthetics allow for more efficient treatment, resulting in your visit to the dentist being shorter than you think!

Please advise us of any changes to your medical history, as different anaesthetics may be used depending on your current medical conditions.
